Zachary grew up in Levittown, PA and earned his Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Iowa State University before joining the CAH. His research focuses on the pleasure and displeasure people feel when they exercise, judgments and decisions about exercise, and implicit exercise associations. Ultimately, he wants to help people increase their physical activity and exercise behavior. He is also interested in improving teaching methods and evidence-based practice in Kinesiology. He enjoys spending time with his wife (Magda), cat (Tesla), and friends, watching football, and eating.
