Associate Professor of Psychology
David is a psychology professor and the director of the Pizarro Lab at Cornell University. His research interests include how people arrive at judgements about moral responsibility and how intuitions and biases affect moral judgment. He also has a general interest in the influence of emotional states (particularly anger, fear, disgust, etc) on thinking and deciding.
David also serves as the Chief Science Officer of BEworks, an organization that aims to help business leaders apply scientific thinking to their marketing and operational challenges.
David has a podcast called Very Bad Wizards in which he and philosopher Tamler Sommers ponder the nature of human morality.
